In the second half of September, Art Box Metaverse will open at Fabryka Norblina in Warsaw—a new 330-sqm space designed for entertainment and special events. This is another project by the Art Box Gallery team, which for the past three years has successfully operated the immersive Art Box Experience gallery within the Warsaw complex—a venue offering encounters with art in a modern, multimedia format. Art Box Metaverse will focus on pure entertainment and engaging experiences in digital reality. In addition, the space will be available for hire for all types of events.
Art Box Metaverse is being developed on the second floor of the Plater building, and its opening will simultaneously mark the premiere of the first metaverse experience of this scale in Poland. The metaverse—popular worldwide, including in the United States and Japan—is a 3D virtual reality environment that allows users to interact with the digital world and with other participants in real time. At Art Box Metaverse, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in this digital realm.
The inaugural experience will be “Hotel Dracula”—an interactive adventure created under license from the Spanish producer Univrse. Participants will explore a virtual hotel full of surprises, where each room conceals unexpected visual and sound effects, guaranteeing unforgettable emotions. This is the first in a series of unique experiences created in collaboration with content creators and producers, which will soon allow visitors to discover new and diverse worlds.
– “The metaverse is a new era of digital entertainment, where the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds are blurring like never before. At Art Box Metaverse, we will transport our guests into interactive, four-dimensional worlds experienced through VR headsets—where one can not only observe, but also actively participate in events. By combining cutting-edge technology, special effects and immersive storytelling, each session becomes a fully immersive journey into an alternative reality—from the very first second to the finale. Our experiences will change regularly, offering a new and unique adventure every time. This is more than a film, more than a game—it is a world you can enter and become part of,”
says Joanna Kowalkowska, CEO of Art Box Gallery.
– “From the very beginning, we have been rooting for Art Box’s activities at Fabryka Norblina and with great joy we observe how this space enriches our cultural offering. Thanks to exhibitions dedicated to the Impressionists, Salvador Dalí or Frida Kahlo, Art Box Experience has become a permanent fixture on Warsaw’s artistic map, attracting thousands of visitors. Now we eagerly await the next—this time entertainment-focused—initiative and keep our fingers crossed for its success,”
adds Kinga Nowakowska, Member of the Management Board of Capital Park Group, owner of Fabryka Norblina.
In addition to presenting immersive experiences, Art Box Metaverse will also serve as a venue for a wide range of events. The five-metre-high interior has been designed to offer organizers full freedom of arrangement. Thanks to advanced technical infrastructure—including a 7 × 4 m LED screen (P2.6), professional sound system, stage and architectural lighting—the space will be suitable for conferences, gala events, fashion shows, trade fairs, film sets, photo shoots and exhibition openings.
Art Box Metaverse can accommodate up to 200 guests in a cocktail or fashion-show layout, up to 150 conference participants in a theatre-style setup, and up to 40 exhibitors in a trade-fair format. Event organizers will also have access to comprehensive logistical support, including air conditioning, a backstage dressing room with a separate entrance, high-speed internet, 24/7 security and catering services.
